In March 2000, Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Yulon from Taiwan (25%, since 2001 - 36%), Jingan Automotive and Yunbao Automotive established the Fengshen Automobile company. From March 2000 to 2001, the company produced the EQ 7200 sedans under the Fengshen make and the license of the Nissan Bluebird 1991-96. The new, original Bluebird EQ 7200-II under the Fengshen make debuted in May 2001. The modernized Bluebird EQ 7200-III version appeared under the Nissan make first in 2003.
