Canadian Chryslers had been produced in Canada
from August 1925 to 1966. Production of the make was resumed in 1974, mainly at the modern plant in
Bramalea, acquired by American Motors in 1987. The old LH series (Concorde and
Vision), produced since 1992, was replaced by the new Concorde in September 1997. The LHS and New
Yorker models, produced since 1993, were replaced with the 300 M and the new LHS in 1998. In October 2003, the Concorde, 300M
and LHS were replaced by a completely new 300 sedan, followed by the 300C
Touring station wagon in 2004. Also, the IV generation Town & Country minivans, restyled in 2004, have been produced
here since 2000. Production of the Pacifica minivan began in 2002 in Canada only. In Canada,
Chrysler also produced Maxwell (1916-25), De Soto (1928-60) and Plymouth (1928-75, 1980-99) vehicles.
