Production volume in Indonesia in 2003 - 18,081 passenger vehicles /
minivans and 20,856 pick--ups.
Founded in 1970, the company started assembly on
J20 jeeps and Colt T200 pick-ups in 1971, followed in 1977 by the Galant Sigma. In the
years 1998-2005
the
last Indonesian Galant was constructed here, as well as the Kuda minivan from 1999-2005. In 2002 production of the
Lancer was terminated in Indonesia. In 1991 work on an original, 5-door,
8-seater Colt T120 SS minivan (1.3-liter 78 hp) began, built in cooperation
with Suzuki as a replacement for the original Jet Star model of 1986.
