Since 1988 HICOTEC (until 2004 operating as HS Replica AG) has been assembling cars based on

donor components, and since 1991 they have been manufacturing AC Cobra replicas on their own

chassis with Ford’s 5.0-liter 228 - 420 hp V8 engines. The 228 hp version reaches a velocity of

230 km/h (0-100 km/h in 4.9 s). The company’s annual production volume ranges from 3 to 10

vehicles.
