Carlsson, established in 1982, began tuning
Mercedes cars in 1984. The company’s owner, the famous driver
Ingvar Carlsson, joined forces with the Rolf and Andreas Hartge brothers (who
worked for Hartge in the years 1971-86) in 1989, creating Carlsson Autotechnik GmbH, which
increases the engine power of all Mercedes-Benz models (the S 6.0-liter to 405 hp, CL to 405 hp, E to 560 hp, CLK to 580 hp,
SLK to 245 hp, SL to 580 hp, C to 420 hp), strengthens
braking systems, modifies interiors, suspensions and exhaust systems, and
mounts original rims, spoilers, bumpers, side sills, etc. Latest premieres:

new CLK 55
