COBRA CARS GARBI CHALLENGER

MG Motor Emporda initiated the production of the
Garbi replicas in the mid-90s. The cars have been available from Cobra Cars
Spain since 2003. The Garbi is a copy of the Lotus Seven (1957-73), based on a chassis
of the company’s design and
equipped with Ford 2.0-liter 145 hp engine. The
vehicle is offered in the street version GTS and the racing version Challenger.
The car accelerates to 100km/h in 6.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 219 km/h. Since the end
of the 90s,
the
company has been producing the Magnum roadster - a copy of the AC Cobra (1962-69), housing a Rover V8
engine rated at 200 hp (220 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 4.8 s), a Ford 2.9-liter V6 unit or a Chevrolet 5.7-liter V8 power plant.
