MDI CITY CAT TAXI

MDI MINI CAT

Program: City CAT, Mini CAT.

The company, set up in 1993, demonstrated in 1997 the 6-seat minivan / taxi City CAT, propelled by a compressed-air 800-ccm 25 hp engine and an electric motor with a power of 6.8 hp. The vehicle, which boasts a 200-km range and develops 110 km/h, is to be launched in 2006. At the 2002 Paris Motor Show, the 3-seat Mini CAT had its premiere, equipped with the same engines as the City CAT (110 km/h, 150-km range). Also Mini CAT is planned for production in 2006. In 2007 the Multi CAT will be introduced. MDI plans to reach a production volume of 100,000 of these innovative vehicles annually.
