Since the mid-80s Chevron has produced the
Classic, a copy of the Lotus Seven (1957-77) with aVauxhall 1.3-liter, Mazda
Wankel or GM/Ford V6/V8 engine. In the 90s the Aprisa Turbo premiered, an
original roadster based on the Mazda RX 7, featuring a Mazda Wankel engine
of 243 hp. The product
range was further expanded by the addition of a streamlined 97 roadster in 1997, carrying an engine
with 300
hp.
