BROOKLANDS RENAISSANCE V8

Production volume in 2003 - 1 kit car. Since around 1985, the firm has been manufac­turing a 2-seat roadster on the MGB chassis, which is now offered in three versions: the 180S (with a 1.8-liter 90 hp MGB engine), the 280S (with a 2.8-liter 120 hp V6 Ford unit), and the 350S (with a 3.5-liter 184 hp V8 Rover plant). The model also comes as a 2+2-seat coupe. The 2-seat MGB-based Renaissance V6 (with a 2.9-liter 120-140 hp V6 Ford engine) or V8 (with a 3.5-liter 184-200 hp V8 Rover unit) roadster was introduced in 1994. The V8 GT coupe, based on the Renais­sance V8 (with a 3.5-liter 184-200 hp V8 Rover power plant), has been offered since 2004. In 2000, the program was extended with the MM roadster, also based on the MGB.
